Content
Partnerships

Alongside writing and speaking, I work with destinations, tourism boards and brands to create experience-led content about accessible travel. These collaborations show what accessibility looks like in practice, while helping organisations reach disabled audiences in a more authentic way.

I only collaborate with places and brands that are genuinely working to improve accessibility. The content I create reflects real experiences rather than polished marketing promises - helping disabled travellers see what's possible, and giving organisations meaningful visibility with audiences who value accessibility.

Types of partnerships

Carrie-Ann Lightley sits in a wheelchair on a narrow stone path beside a canal, with historic stone buildings and greenery lining the water.

Destination
storytelling

Travel experiences captured through social content, blog posts and short-form video. These collaborations highlight what a place feels like to visit as a disabled traveller, combining storytelling with access insights.

Brand
partnerships

Working with travel-related brands, products and services that support accessible travel — whether through social media campaigns, product reviews or longer-form content that shows how something works in real life.

Carrie-Ann Lightley sits on a mobility scooter beside a group of women and a young girl gathered around a large, low tree branch in a wooded area, all smiling at the camera.

Campaign
collaborations

Larger projects developed in partnership with tourism boards or organisations to highlight inclusive experiences, often combining multiple formats such as blog features, social media content and video storytelling.

“We’ve worked with Carrie-Ann a number of times over the years, from a sponsored blog post to input on a fundraising campaign and each time, it’s had a real impact on our business. Her blog about our accessible log cabin holidays still brings us direct bookings years later, and the content and imagery she created have become staples in our marketing. Carrie-Ann’s feedback has been thoughtful and constructive, helping us improve both how we talk about accessibility and how we deliver it. Her ability to connect with audiences in a way that’s genuine and practical makes a real difference. (And we can’t forget her lovely dog Poppy – a content star in her own right!).”

— Caroline Brown, General Manager, Hoe Grange Holidays

How to commission work

If you're interested in a content partnership, the best place to start is to get in touch with an outline of the destination, brand or campaign you have in mind. I work collaboratively with clients to shape projects that align with both my audience and the story you want to tell.

Partnerships can include social media content, blog features, video, photography or a combination of formats - each one tailored to the campaign and audience. I'm happy to discuss ideas and share my rate card on request.
